The EXHALE Hunk of the month taken for EXHALE fitness magazine.

This is a streetdancer. I tried to make a cool picture of him for

the EXHALE fitness mag. Is it cool?

Your timing and / or the fitness of the subject have resulted in you catching this at the right moment.

 

Photographically the lights are extremely distracting. Cropping them out is not entirely successful as can be seen from my attempt to do so.

 

 

try cloning the lights out, i agree that this is a great moment to capture but the background is just to busy and distracting, in addition to the clone try to blur the background a bit.

here's my quick fix

I don't like the crop because it weakens the triangle shape at the center of the picture. I that way, the lights add to the effect. If you want to make the subject more prominent, maybe play with depth of field or brightness levels.

The ceiling cross-beams and the hanging light fixtures contribute a strong sense of perspective to this composition, which transitions very effectively to the triangular lines of the model's pose. Perhaps a little background blur would make this better, but surely not the cropping and cloning suggested above. Great photo. -- kobi

Magnus, I suppose it is a risk of putting a picture on a site such as this that someone will come along and say 'oh, I can make that better'. It's an amazing b***dy capture and that's far more important than a bit of background clutter. Nice work indeed.
