Oh wow! That's gorgeous! It really caught my attention. Love the backlit clouds and intensity of the light surrounding them.

Nice capture. A good timing to catch up this light. The composition is quite ordinary, but this lighting, toning and nice reflection really add a lot and make the shot beautiful.

I agree with Vlad's comments above--the lighting is extraordinary, but the centered cloud doesn't work all that well compositionally. Also, the hint of boats in the bottom left distracts more than enhances.

I guess we are all different. I like the clouds, I also like the boats...a very peaceful scene indeed! To me though, it's just a bit too dark. One of the issues with digital is that people rarely use any type of graduated filter (even just an ND) which would have made a great difference in this case. Beautifully composed though and still a very nice image!

Michele, I normally don't comment on sunset photos because so often the photographer simply relys on the dramtics of the colors to make the picture....not the case here....your composition and attention to detail (the boats and the distant pier) are outstanding. Excellent work and I commend you for such a great job!
