I think the necklace adds to the tactile quality of the image by providing texture and perceived temperature contrast. I feel however that this image is more portrait than figure study. For pure figure study I would diminish the effect of the eyes by burning-in. Overall...Bravo!!!

Absolutely stunning! Reminds me of some of the great glamour shots of the '30's and '40's. The Scala film and orange filter seem to have worked great together here. I'd love to know what lighting setup you used, your f-stop and lens. Thanks for sharing.
