single photos morrro bay CA off CA-1

should i have taken out my medium format to shoot this?

 

photographed on the drive bacck to LA from a San Simeon photo trip.

something to look at before the film gets developed.

The clouds and rock are interesting, but the rest of it has sort of flat lighting. Maybe some levels work would help?

Joseph, great sky and atmospheric horizon, I'm not sure about the foreground though. IMHO the scene would be more dramatic with the beach as the foreground (recomposed and reshot). Nicely spoyyed and beautifully exposed non the less.
