to achieve good exposure of the foreground with "glued" sky from

another exposure.

An unusual but nice frame around a picture that has a beautiful foreground. Sorry for this but I dont like the background to much. These clouds are to heavy. When you lighten them up it will balance the whole picture more. Just my opinion.

 

In this case I don't think the end result is as good as the others. That sky, in my opinion, is too bluish to go with the rest of the picture. Try to correct it with Selective Colours in PS (Less cyan and blue in whites and, perhaps, a bit of yellow)
