Yes! In your version is sure more dynamics. But other photo is one. The grandeur of the building of left , with the rest of the manufactured ones, that is bathed in the sea has the fascination that was my intention to pick. Thank you of the attention. Regards donato (sorry for my bad english)

No, I like the second crop, but the color shift is not as pleasing. I like the "contrast" between the water and the boat in the first pic.

I've been thinking. Maybe this is not the place for it, but what if people looked at a picture, and also discussed what they would have done with it that would make the picture "wrong"?

For example, I would have formulaically, cropped out more of the foreground water, trying to get closer to a rule of thirds compo. But I think that the foreground works better here than had it been cropped out.

If you think that this discussion belongs in the forums, let me know.

I prefer the original version. There's the sense of the perspective. The lines of the buildings guide the eye to the center. The second version is too flat for me. The colors are good.

Generally, i think is a good image.

Beautiful, reminds me of a painting. I agree with that the more dynamic composition is better - the boat should sail into the picture not out of. And the sun on the building to the left is less important. Very nice.
