What could be improved?

Rudy- I played a bit in P/S and replaced the blown sky and added highlights to some areas that were washed out, like the neat bridge in the backround. IMHO the subject matter is good it just looks like you took this at the wrong time of day or the lighting was just bad or you over exposed for the bright sky. Try bracketing, this will sometimes help until you get the hang of correct exposure settings, plus it gives you the opportunity to chose which image you like best.

Bracketing could have helped; it was at the end of the day. Was afraid to under expose the houses. Thanks very much for you advice!
