When I first began using a 4X5 camera, I spent a lot of time in Yosemite.

While this particular image is striking and emblematic, it's also been called "done".

Whether it's been 'done' or not, it's still one of my favorite 'learning' photographs.

This image is my favorite of all your images... I particularly love the snow covered rocks in the foreground and how you've managed that exposure pulling in the shadow area as well as the sun on the mountain...without under or overexposing anything! Beautiful shot.

You lucky dog...great colors and timing. I hope to be posting some more Yosemite pic's soon, they are not as good as this one but I am trying.

yeah, the first thing that went into my mind was "done", hmm i seen this in galen rowells books and everywhere else. but who cares, a good shot is a good shot and each shot and time is unique in itself. Very good.

Seen it before, but so what? wish i had 'done' it too! Actually quite fancied coming over the pond in winter to get this image and a few other 'done' shots. Logistically how difficult is it to enter the park in winter, are 4 wheel drives needed?
