Sunrise in Duck Valley

I spent an unforgettable night here, my feet supported by the large stone in the foreground, while my head was under the bush. The panorama was splendid. The height between the Duck Lake level and the peak behind (called Snow Pile) is 700m, while the crown of mountains on the left and right was even higher. There was no wind, the air was motionless. Perfect silence under sky full of stars. I slept vigilantly though, not knowing whats the deuce, but instead of a bear approaching I could only hear my heartbeat. Around 4 o'clock in the morning I was awaken by moonlight. What I saw is rendered with much likeness in picture 1007.
