tommy martin 0 Posted August 20, 2001 Cool shot. Over all this is very nice. I wish the guy on the right didn't have his arm cut off. Link to comment
jordi_grandia 0 Posted July 11, 2002 I'm sorry because i know that is the second photo i retouch, but in this one (i like it very much for the dinamism and the composition) i think you can get more dinamism if you had take the photo with slowly speed and using flash to freeze the image. The efect become like the example. I know that is very dificult to obtain a good result but you can get bouth efect using digital retouch too. Congratulations for all photos you have on photo.net. Congartulations again! And sorry for may inglish. I know is bad. I from Spain and I hope you understand me. I hope that you enjoy my photos too and comments will be welcomed. Link to comment
m._ort 0 Posted July 11, 2002 Hi Jordi -- Your english is fine and I have no trouble understanding you. I don't like this one as much as the other one you retouched. What I liked about the original was the line of hurdles extending for as far as the eye can see. That effect is lost here. Also, the obscured runners bother me -- it just seems too "busy". But thanks for the taking the time to view my photos, leave comments and even playing with a few of them. Kind regards, m. Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted September 7, 2003 I really like this color one also. You are going back and forth between sport action and color easily. The repetition of the hurdles, the three different positions of athletes. Excellent. You know, whil I dislike those motivational posters intensely - this is quite as good as any of the commercial images I've seen in those contexts. Link to comment
