juan_rivas 0 Posted January 2, 2004 It has been said that each mind (person) is a different world. When I see pictures like his one, it makes me wonder about that person(s) current and past life situations and experiences. It makes me wonder how they are as a person. About their childhood, lost loves, hates and likes, pains and pleasures, etc. I think that most of us are walking books or movies to be discovered. Ive met some amazing people with equally amazing lives in my lifetime. This man in this picture seems to have some amazing stories to tell. Great picture! Juan ---Its sad how we humans are ever more increasingly relying on machines to do the thinking for us. Why use film & brainstorm over getting the results we want to achieve, when we can shoot digital & take the same picture over & over like a monkey until we get it right? Whats the fun in that? All one has become is a button pusher and not a REAL photographer--- Juan M. Rivas Link to comment

terrybutler 0 Posted August 20, 2004 He does remind me of the actor, this is a terrific potrait; the large face, the eyes we can only imagine and his white - ish stubble. There is a lot of character in the face and it's well captured. Link to comment
benjamin.portraiture 0 Posted October 15, 2004 I was really drawn to this face when looking through the thumbnails. Good crop too. Really fills the frame with what's important. Juan, yes you can use a digital camera like a monkey just like you can abuse other tools. Don't really know why you're lamenting the existence of another tool. Nothing here warrants it.
