mikem77 0 Posted January 2, 2004 Nice detail. I think a symmetric crop would be better Link to comment
dennis_schoeller 0 Posted January 2, 2004 techinique is nice. Not easy to do, and do as well as you did it. Link to comment
brandonhamilton 0 Posted January 2, 2004 Thank you very much. Some people have rated asthetics as a 3.. but I wonder why? Link to comment
cecilw 0 Posted January 3, 2004 Nice macro work. Interesting tones in the copper. I see pennies in my hand all the time, but never see the details as they are visible here. Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted September 14, 2004 This will sound like a back-handed compliment, but this is about the best coin macro I've ever seen. I can't read the minds of others, but I think you got some "3"s because this theme (coin macros) is about done to death and rarely produces much more than an "oh, that lens can really focus close" response. There is no beauty, no emotive content, Like what you've captured here with the weathred, aged copper. I think it would be a better picture, though, with a solid black background. Link to comment
