Night shots are one of my fav's love the feel to this, huge and well lit, almost over the top but still in the real world, and your right the sky worked out well ! *R*

I'm a big fan of bridges and I'm always looking for a good bridge shot. You have wonderfully captured this image and the colors, mood, composition, etc. are all excellent.

Hey thanks all for the nice comments.

Roger, You really have no choice but get over the top colors when you shoot this bridge. The only variable is the blue-ish sky as apposed to a solid black sky or blue-ish sky w/o the clouds.. Otherwise the bridge lighting shows this orange on film (almost regardless of your WB) and the city lights are pretty vibrant, so this color that looks like I spent a lot of time in PS pretty much comes out this way. I seem to get better response without the pure black sky. More people seem to like a little more of the contrast.

I am glad you enjoyed it.

I love this bridge. I'm originally from The Queen City. Whenever I trip to Cinci, I shoot a lot because the city is very photogenic.

AJ - Check out my portfolio and see if you recognize anything!

Cool to see someone else who knows Cinci.

I like your Fountain Square shot, you have put quite a different spin on it compared to the typical stuff.

Check back often, I am gonna' be adding some more stuff soon that should jog your memory!

Cool Man! I really love my home town. It's nice to see the place. I'll mark you as interesting.

Warm and pleasant in Nashville.

Keep up the good work!

Great photo, A.J.! For those interested in this bridge, it was designed by John Roebling and opened in 1866. He also designed the Brooklyn Bridge which opened in 1883.
