portraits Double take

I liked the lines in the glass and the way the reflection looked. My daughter is getting

to love posing and can put on a smile or pout for the asking. This is her "serious

look" she said when I asked for a smile. I think now that she was right and a smile

would not look as good in this shot.

Tell your daughter she helped you make a wonderful image that will live forever.

The look on this girl's face is riveting. I'm torn between whether or not the reflection in the window adds or takes away from the image. Good work either way.

I think a smile would have changed the atmosphere of this photo. Composition is great on this. Nice side lighting, and the reflection, almost spectral looking away, as if in a contrast of thought. I love this.. Very good..
