I like the composition and idea of this photo. For me, the color and details are compromised in order to get the sun shine... Perhaps a polarizer would have helped. If you could have shot it using a tripod, you might have shot two or three shots - with each shot metered for the various zones of the image. Then, later, on the computer, merge the correct 'parts' of the image. All in all, a wonderful shot. Cheers.
