But, as you were thinking of the sky when you took it, would be nicer to see more sky and less of the foreground. The colours looked slightly washed out (very minor) so I tried adjusting the contrast. Result attached... Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted January 12, 2004 Bill, I agree, a very nice composition, framed by the shadow side of the church itself on the right, the band of fireweed (?) on the bottom and the tree on the left. Respecting Krishna's opinion, I prefer your original, lower contrast version. There is a beauty in subtlty, high contrast & high saturation not always necessary nor desireable. If you wanted more intense skies (I don't happen to think you need them) you could increase the saturation of the blue only in PS. Excellent result for your efforts. Best, LM. Link to comment
