catherine_horey 0 Posted June 15, 2001 There was some debris in the river underneath this attractive waterfall. It would have appeared in the lower right corner, and instead of trying a different position since I liked the angle, I slightly underexposed the image to block it out. Do you find this image interesting as a result, or dull with little detail? Link to comment
sjsimmons 0 Posted June 15, 2001 Did you properly expose one frame for comparison? I guess I see what you were trying to do, but to me it still just looks like a picture of a waterfall that's underexposed. Link to comment
louis tsai 0 Posted June 15, 2001 Catherine, what you have done here certainly have its own merits, however, in my humble opinion, the lost of details on the rocks and the surroundings is painful. Water is always water, a bit of details in the surrounding helps to engage the viewer, and create a more interesting photo. Despite what I have said, I like this shot, and you have got good ideas, creativity, and brain, all of which are essential to photography. Cheers ! Link to comment
tito sobrinho 1 Posted June 18, 2001 Catherine: Go back in an overcast day. Positive film has a little range i.e. 3 to 4 stops. Instead of underexposed, you meant to say overexposed. Right? Link to comment
