@kellyrae-

These images were all done with the cheapest Point-and-Shoot Canon Powershot 400 camera on the market. Here's the key; this camera had it's sensor modified. I recommend getting a much better digital camera that has been modified to capture IR wavelengths which come across as blue (cyan) and magenta in the digital capture. Those have to be converted to Black and White respectively. I use Nik filters still! I am sure any equivalent software to move to B&W would work too. So you need to get a decent camera with an IR modified sensor. Kind of a pain, because it won't capture normal images any longer. Maybe one of these days I'll spring for a better IR modified sensor/camera. Expect a lot of duds as IR does not always work with regular subjects well. I'd suggest a Nikon D200 as a mid-level camera with the modification done already. For me it's a logical choice as I have years of Nikon lenses in the bag already. Have fun with it if you decide to go that way.
All the Best,

Phil
