Rangers hut and the Diamond on Longs Peak Colorado

Please give feed back on composition. Also, any help with scanning to

get ride of silly blue fringes in the sky (could just be my

monitor) would be greatly appreciated. Scanned at 2000 pixels/in from

slide on Nikon 4000 reduced to jpeg from original Tif.

Thanks for the nice words. The T4-Super is just that...super. I really like it and am slowly learning to use it and my other gear a little better...as can be seen in my folder I hope. (I think I am getting better at this ?)

Nice photo Justin, but that's not the Diamond. The prominent rock formation in the middle of the picture is called "Ship's Prow", presumably because it looks like a ship's prow. The Diamond is further to the right, on Longs Peak. Where did you end up going after you got up to the Loft? Happy climbing!

You are correct regarding the Ship's Prow...my bad. After the Loft we headed over to Dream Weaver. I ended up having to take my buddy down for having Acute Mountain Sickness, while my other two pals finished her up. Beautiful landscape. Nice views from the toilet too ;?)

 

And, that's why the contrast and cripsness of the image rival that of SLR's. Nice pix!
