bens 0 Posted December 21, 2003 Roger, this is terrific -- the colors (the boat and the green to the right) are very very well done. its lively, but not bright (except where obviously intended), from the dirt in the lower left to the reflectivity in the water. An every day scene made worthy of framing. Excellent (that's a 7, isn't it?). Link to comment
maxhaynes 0 Posted December 21, 2003 Watch your color levels, is the river really green like that? Be careful that color doesn't become the subject of the picture. It's a lovely spot and a nice composition. Link to comment
southernman 0 Posted December 21, 2003 Love that flamingpear stuff. By the way I tied to fix the Old Firehouse shot...... Check it out. T Link to comment
ricklundh 0 Posted January 4, 2004 Roger, Thanks for your comments, as always! Your are right, Lafayette is about 40 miles from Downtown Portland, on the way to the coast. Howard Hughes's famous Spruce Goose plane is a housed a short distance from your old town, in Mcminneville. I want to try to get a few photos from there in the near future. I like the overall quality and diversity of your photos! you definitely have the eye....I'm sure we'll chat again! Have a Great New Year! Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 65 Posted April 6, 2004 I love it, too, Roger, but I was wondering what it would be like without so much saturation. I hope you don't mind my experimenting with your photo. I know that this defeats the entire purpose of the flaming pear plug-in, but I wanted to see it in a more conventional light. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted April 25, 2004 Love the comp. I do like Lannie's less saturated version a bit more though Link to comment
