Hi GV!  I mentioned recently that the squirrels ate my crocuses.  I am now sure this is true, I planted over a hundred bulbs 2 or 3 years ago, this year 7 came up!

we have a problem with moles and voles and are sure they or mice like our crocuses- they haven't disappeared, but every year some appear in places we know we hadn't planted any- seems they dig them up and then store them for later, then forget where they are... not very efficient, but they eat lots of other things too.
