Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted February 4, 2023 (edited) Ants drinking a drop of honey. I propose these photos taken years ago and which are among my favorite macros. One day a drop of honey fell on the floor on my balcony and several little ants gathered around to feed on it. I took the cue and set up a white card with different types of honey, after a while many little ants gathered around to eat. I photographed these ants drinking a drop of honey with Pentax*ist DS, Dental macro lens with ring flash and 2x add-on lens, f/22, 1/180sec, ISO 200. Pierre Dumas 260 Posted February 5, 2023 (edited) Giangiorgio, the technical quality of these two macros is superb and the composition and balance too! Do we have to thank this machine or the lenses used? Both, of course, but not to forget the master behind them! Ciao PDE Edited February 5, 2023 by Pierre Dumas Esquire Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 454 Posted February 5, 2023 This dental macro lens is outstanding, these ants are smaller than 2mm yet the detail of the legs and antennae is very clear, dear Pierre grazie mille for your continued support, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
