you must have used some serious gear to get this quite detailed shot of the moon! I presume it is a crop, but even in that case you probably used a teleconverter on a tele lens. A clear view of the moon (especially the surface with its craters) always fascinates me. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent

Hi Vincent, nice to hear from you. Yes, this was cropped somewhat, the gear used was a Canon 7D mk 2 (1.6X), a Canon 400 DO f4 mk2 lens, and a 2X TC for a 35mm equiv. focal length of 1280 mm. The exposure was 1/125th sec @ f8, iso 400, handheld leaning against a porch post. Thanks for writing, best regards, Bill PS: The moon is one day before full-moon.
