Very refreshing and original! Made me smile from ear-to-ear.

Sort of reminds me of the chess scene in the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. All sorts of funny images keep running in my head as I try to figure out how your "chess pieces" would try to outglamour each other off the board if they could animate. Ha ha.

I was wondering that perhaps your chessboard might look more like the real thing if you could get a different pair of models to uniquely represent the different chess characters.

Other than that, it's a nice work!

Cheap idea, badly executed. For a photography forum I'm suprised how easily you're all convinced. Does a bit of smut count as creative? Do these girls really look as if they're actually sitting on the board? Having said that... full marks for ambition and effort!

I look at this picture and I remember the line from History of the World: Part 1, "Knight Jumps Queen, Pawn Jumps Queen, Bishop Jumps Queen, everyone jumps the queen...Its good to be the King!"

Always remember the Queen is supposed to be placed on her own color (black queen on dark square, White Queen on light square)

While the women-in-board looks like a good idea for a funny image like this, it seems to me that it lacks to resemble the models to real pieces in chess. The fact that there is a row of women on their knees tells us they're pawns, but what about the others?. On the other hand, there's no doubt this is an enjoyable original image.

Must be me but this is a poor use of a tool. This is obvious that this was 'manipulated'. The placement of the board is too forced, and they typography is not sensitive. I would probably believe this more if the board was actually in some 'space' but this looks like a piece of beat up seamless.

Again, just me...

White on right and queen on it's own color. Black is backwards. Nice idea but I would have liked to see two crusty old men playing chess with these pieces, staring intently at the board :-).

GREAT idea! Putting the shot on top of a table with a libray/den in the background would be really cool. Personally, I would have liked different costumes for the different... ummm... pieces. Full length nightgown for the queen; pawns nude; etc... the hats on the "kings" doesn't seem to fit...Also the poses should mimic - to a degree - the different pieces.. like, I would have the poses for your "knight" & "rook" switched... HOWEVER, considering how much work & thought went into the shot... VERY NICE!!
