Places to Go, Things to See

50mm lens, didn't note exposure, digital manipulation of background to blur more and reduce contrast in an effort to eliminate distraction. A bit of an experiment for me. I feel like I'm cheating!

I like the idea of this image. I might try the concept again. I was

troubled that the background was cluttered. I cheated, and

touched it up this time, but I'm thinking of trying again with a

different background, which might be a logistical challenge, but

I'm up for that. Do you have any other ideas for improving on this

concept?

Unique baby and children portraits are my specialty. I really like this image, my only suggestion is small, but will make a huge difference...

I like not having the full face showing, but bring it in closer to keep your subject still connected with the globe and the complete image, therefore, blocking out any clutter left in the background. I say good job!!

What's not to like? Move on to the next thing.

I like the background except for the light area near the face and arm. I would increase contrast overall (or is it my monitor?) and extend the background to cover the light area.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions, keep them coming! Yes, the globe is upside down. It rotates completely in it's stand. He turned it upside down, presumably because he wanted to see that particular section of the North Atlantic. Either that or he was looking for the legend.
