russell_carey1 0 Posted December 15, 2003 Version 2 - a little burning of the big cloud and a little dodging of the rocks and other clouds. Version 1 is still up for any comparisons/comments on technique! Love to hear any thoughts Link to comment

ciofalo 0 Posted December 15, 2003 A great photo, and a definite improvement on the first version thanks to the (now visible) texture in the rocks. I think you should stress that your model did actually climb the rocks up to there; it would be so cheap to paste her there in PS ... Link to comment
antonio.giacomo 0 Posted December 15, 2003 Hi Russell, Version 2 is better on a monitor. I would love to see a very large paper exhibition print, in which case version 1 would be better. Depending on the exposure, you should be able to get some very rich detail in the rocks. More, please. Link to comment
russell_carey1 0 Posted December 15, 2003 Thanks for the comments. She did in fact stand up there! No Photoshop at all in that department! Behind her isn't very high but in front is!!! Thanks again Link to comment
norton_bl 0 Posted December 15, 2003 I can't get this image out of my mind, I've gone back 3 times today to look at it- I like this version a little more than the other- Link to comment
joshua_heidorn 0 Posted December 16, 2003 Beautiful ! Love the overall tonality and contrast. And especially the juxtaposition of harsh rocks and soft skin. Good focal point placement I prefer this version to the other one for lack of words, it just grabs me more. Thanks for sharing! Link to comment
leopoldo 0 Posted December 16, 2003 A slight change for an otherwise great photo. Saludos Leo Garcia / Venezuela Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted December 17, 2003 the model was quoted as saying, "You bastard! You made me climb up there when you could have Photoshopped me in?" Only kidding, of course. This is truly a stunning work of art. Timeless, breathtaking. Link to comment
kent_anderson1 0 Posted December 17, 2003 Nudes are pretty common on this site and I normally don't bother to rate them! But this one does catch the eye. Link to comment
geo sun 0 Posted December 18, 2003 This is a great idea well executed. You might cut some of the sky and put your model a little to the top and to the right. Just a thought. Geo Link to comment
