vincentoiseau 83 Posted November 20, 2021 Hi Franz, very nice and original! I think this would look great as a square crop too, but I like it thus way. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

Bill Neubaum 10,164 Posted November 21, 2021 Great shot, Franz! You must have been pretty close to the water drop to have it so large in the frame, yet the fence in background is still "a fence". Makes me curious as to what focal length and aperture you used so the fence isn't completely blurred. Kind regards, Bill Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted November 21, 2021 Hello Bill, thank you for the nice comment. I used a 30mm macro lens for Sony Alpha adapted to a Nex-5. The f-number was 20, ISO 1600. The sun star comes about through the high f-number. Kind regards, Franz Link to comment
scotedw 44 Posted November 23, 2021 Very creative. The depth of field is interesting in this image. The fence is sharp through water drop but soft in background. Well done. Scott Link to comment
