claus_guglberger1 0 Posted June 13, 2001 This slug was tough, he (she?) didn't want to stay still. Link to comment
greenpalm 0 Posted June 13, 2001 I am assuming the depth of field was intentional since it is so very shallow. I don't think it works for me, I'd like to see more in focus. Are the letters your copywrite protection? That made it very hard to view the photo, and confusing for me. Thanks for sharing it. Link to comment
claus_guglberger1 0 Posted June 13, 2001 Julie, Shallow depth of field was the intent, I think it was 2.5 on a 90mm. For what it's worth the cgpix on the image is for copyright protection, maybe it needs to be more transparent. Thanks for the input. Link to comment
melanie_trowbridge 0 Posted June 14, 2001 Sorry to sound so lame, but ... ummm ... I don't get it? The picture really is too blurred to grasp the eye and neither the color nor line gives my pupils a thrill. Link to comment
warren_baird 0 Posted June 14, 2001 I'm afraid that the cgpix text is by far the dominant part of the image... Personally, I would think that posting such small images would be more than enough to stop people from stealing your work. But if you really feel you need a watermark - try to find a watermarking scheme that just fiddles with the bits in a non-visible way. It's pretty hard to critique an image that is so tiny, and with text written across it. It might work as an abstract, but I certainly wouldn't have know it was a slug if you hadn't mentioned it...
