Fine monochrome abstract work, Laurent. I really was drawn in, especially by the crescent-shaped ripples. - - My best always, michael

Hi Laurent. A simple yet very nice shot of a light pole reflection that also brings great texture from the ground and raindrops. Nicely done Laurent! My best to you my friend, Mick

Michael...I was in the car waiting for my wife when I spotted the reflection with the couple of round ripples from the remainig few raindrops.I tried several crops and after posting,I thought a tighter frame would suit this better...maybe?Attached any better?.Merci et salutations-Laurent

Cher Laruent, tojours un plaisire, not only to send you my greetings but to see your work. IMHO I prefer your original post, as it gives it more "content and background". BW is just a delicacy worth savoring. Truly artistic, transmitting some nostalgia for a rainy (maybe sad?) afternoon. What I want to say is that this image evokes feelings, and THAT mon cher ami, is what I think our art and means of communication is all about. Félicitations comme toujours et meilleurs voeux. DG

Daniel....Merci bien cher ami pour ta précieuse appréciation. When I first cropped the wide shot of this reflection in a shopping mall parking lot,I had a wider frame than the one I originally posted but I had also the tighter crop which highlighted the raindrop ripples making that intricate design in the extended arms of the lightpole reflection which attracted me initially.I am glad that such an image of a simple subject stirred up some feelings as you note.Toujours mes meilleures salutations-Laurent
