Nice. I was trying to do the same the other night, but my lens could not reach! Good image.

Adolfo....Thank you for looking at my images and for your note on this one.This is a daylight shot and I took it with my old 300mm/f4,hand held and firmly set against the varenda handrailing;a bit of sharpening was the final touch in PP.I am sure you could get the same result using your 200mm lense.Salutations-Laurent

Pierre....I am honoured that you took the time to appreciate even if the moon is not a subject of interest for you.Being handy and readily available for a shoot every clear night right from my front varenda,I have been taking the odd shot,always hoping to get it sharper somehow even if I persist in shooting without a tripod.....and knowing it will basically just be another take on the same moon.This shot I took in the morning and upon looking closer,I realized the obvious that it was different given the overnight rotation;I thought it would be interesting to compare,so I made up the attached collage for your perusal mon ami.PS..the day moon is a day later because of an in-between foggy period and it had lost a bit of its fullnest .Salutations-Laurent
