Tongue cleaning! Yikes

I caught this fly doing its regularly business when I was just trying

to test a Topcon UV lens after I made a mount for it to mount on my

EOS. Anyway, I got more than I bargained for... That is one wired

looking tongue! Hope you like it!

I keep going back and forth between amazed and grossed out. This has got to be one the oddest, yet most interesting shots I've seen on here in a while. Great capture.

Unbelievable~ Great shot... 10 for asthetics (gulp) - No, really, it is as beautiful as it is realistic enough to make my skin crawl... However, I am amazed at the detail and the color...Wow, that color is very unexpected... Nice shot!

I would have liked to see a portrait version too though, as I think it would compliment the angle & you might have caught the wing tip (ULHC) into the frame aswell - altogether a brilliant shot though.

Macro is the world you live in and it takes another to appreciate this wonderful image and the problems that go with it. Charles, just superb in every way. This cant be faulted. The technique used is superb as is the eye behind the shot. Excellent work.

Would it be better if rotate counterclockwise 90 degree?(just a thought)
