michael_ward1 0 Posted December 13, 2003 OK, I'm confused. But I don't think that's really the nature of the theme - to confuse the viewer. Especially not to confuse the viewer as to what on earth the picture has to do with the theme. The only thing I can think is that it must be some sort of Brit in-joke thing about the queen? Other than that, it's a very nice snapshot of a woman. I'm sure she'd like the color version to put in her photo album. For this to be considered as a professional portrait, at the very least, the flash shadow should be not there. Link to comment
jay belton 0 Posted December 15, 2003 Hmmm... I've been sitting here pondering over this... The only thing that comes to mind is she's been blinded and confused. She can't see anything. Stupid flash. Link to comment
dominiquedodge 0 Posted December 19, 2003 A clever title, PT. And although no true Brit would make that confusion (not even J. English), I'm OK with the ThemeFit. On the photo itself, I find it would be better if the background supported the main subject, in one way or another. Of course, this is not B. Palace, but I would have liked to see some interaction between ER and the other people (if she was talking to Spiderman for example, if this is indeed a costume party) or just doing something (eating a cucumber sandwich?...) so that there's a bit more feeling or mood in it. As it is it feels a bit static, partly because there's no eye contact. Still funny though! Link to comment
