If this is porn, then I am Ed Morawski. Ed, what an absolutely beautiful shot. Her curves are well defined in all the right places and the lighting complements those same curves. Well done!

If this is porn, then it is the kind the world needs more of. It's a pose I like and use in most of my shoots and I'm pretty sure I copied it instead of working it out for myself. So Better on the A score than the O score. I prefer the model to lift her hair a little higher to show the nape of the neck but that may just be me. I like the details in the right shoulder.

I told the model I have been trying to capture a woman's back in a certain way for a while because I think it is sexy. She told me she would make sure I got it this time. And she delivered, what a gal!

i don't think you acomplished "getting her back" at all. the lighting is flat, the viewer has no sense of the subject's muscle tone, and from this distance there's no intamacy in the details. imo, it's a muddled photo, just a woman in a thong. try again

I agree with the previous comment, though I think it was quite blunt. First of all, I think the thong gives the photo a really cheap feel, 'sleazy mag style'.

Secondly, I don't think this girl has a great back for the picture you were trying to shoot, try using a professional dancer or gymnast, you'll get a lot more muscle tones in that way.

When I hear the word "porn" I think of something a tad more "hardcore" than this. This is a well done photograph of a very beautiful woman who is naked. ('cept for that string).

Menso, Lane: read Ed's previous comment.

"I told the model I have been trying to capture a woman's back in a certain way for a while because I think it is sexy"

"A Certain way" not YOUR way.

Nice job, Ed!

The image was taken at 1/30 F2.1 with one 500 watt tungsten studio light. No flash. I have found I like the much softer tone using only one light reflected into a white umbrella

It's a lovely shot of a nicely shaped model. I'm not sure about the thong but it may even help to define the shape. My main crit is about your choice of lighting setup - I think you would find that double (uneqal) side lighting would give much more emphasis to the subtle surface curves of her back than this diffused front / above source. Just a personal view. ... Jonathan
