an appealing close-up of this wintery branch. You have placed the seed pod/leaf in the center, which is a good choice. The composition is okay, but the very dark background and the overly bright lower part of the photo take away some of the magic of this image's potential. I guess you didn't bring a tripod, which could have made a lot of difference. Imagine you had shot this at ISO 100; you wouldn't have had the noise in the background and you would have had so much more room to play with. If this was my photo, I would redo the composition without the bright part or make it a square with the branch as a pure diagonal. I hope you don't mind my suggestions. Kind regards, Vincent
