Jeff Filler 1 Posted February 19, 2021 Marvelous! Hey! I use a Rebel! Sometimes. Capturing wildlife is way more difficult than non-wildlife-photographers might imagine. So much can go wrong, especially if outside of a preserve, or refuge, where the wildlife is `hunted' (human averse). I love the capture in the snow, because, for the aware, it also elicits the struggle wildlife have in winter, and with far better attitude than us humans. Link to comment
Brian Murphy 75 Posted February 19, 2021 Hi Jeff and thank you. The rebel has served me well. You raised an interesting point about showing the struggle wildlife faces to survive the winter. As a retirement gift to myself I recently upgraded to the Canon 90D. My middle grandson is interested in photography so he will break in on my old rebel. Be safe and keep warm. Link to comment
Brian Murphy 75 Posted February 19, 2021 Thank you Gregory and Verena. I was lucky and had the settings right for the shot. A dozen of these guys were out foraging along the road eating grass the plows exposed. Yep the rebel did well by me. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 738 Posted February 20, 2021 This falls in the category of amazing. - amazing clarity, amazing hues, amazing isolation of subject within a harmonizing background. Brilliant work, Brian. Link to comment
Brian Murphy 75 Posted February 21, 2021 Hello Wayne, Thank you for taking a look and the great compliments. I have a lot to learn but sure enjoy. These birds add some color to a dreary winter day. Be safe and take care, Brian Link to comment
