Great art, exceptional! Superb maitrise of the photographic art, a great direction of the esthetism. The very original composition and a beautiful light leave us a feeling of elegance and refinement. An excellent work, Bravo!! Sincerely, Michel

...those shadows are creating a break up of the smooth flow of light and shadow. Nice composition and use of the hood. The light looks too "focused" for this type of shot with those hard-edged shadows coming from the nose and lower lip.

Great pose idea and good over-all exectution.

I love it!

I do agree with the distracting ligh "spots" but regarding the lack of texture in the upper left corner, I prefer it as it is. It looks like she's "inside" the background. Really great contrast!

was this picture converted to black and white in photoshop or the camera has the capabilities to do this wondefull job.?

I seen several people using this camera for portraits in black and white with great results.

I love the line in the image, and it's followed by solid contrast. That equals one amazing photograph. Great work.

The light white facial tones might also be what makes the photograph so arresting to the viewer. The image is so visceral that it requires examination, you can't scan past it even among a set of very fine photographs. However, close inspection suggests to any viewer that the model is not real, as she indeed is not, and so the next question to me seems to be whether improving skin tones would detract from the overall aesthetic. It would certainly change it. But no matter how you look at it, this photograph is extremely well done. If skin tones were adjusted digitally, it would be important to not lose the detail in the hood. As people have suggested previously, I'd like to see a similar image with a live model, but am not sure it would hold the same initial visual impact.

The simplicity of the picture is what makes it so brilliant. I can't fault it. One to be proud of, Carlos, very well done.

I like the angle of the hood over the face, but I'm not crazy about the way the light leaves those shadows. This is definitely worth experimenting with some more, including a live model, as some have suggested. Simple and effective composition.

Very creative! And so many people think you need a big and expensive camera to make a

beautiful image. Congratulations!
