Expert lighting, use of focus, model!

After some thought, I think the relationship between the model and her sweater puts this photo over the top. For example, I can imagine that her sweater looks like a Knight’s protective chainmail. But instead of cold and hard, it’s really soft and warm. (note: the attention to lighting of the sweater is as good as model lighting.) Likewise, the model’s expression is protective and guarded. But behind those eyes is something soft and warm. This kind of image actually lives up to photonet’s claim “Where Photographer’s inspire each other”!
