House roof is crooked. This was the first thing I noticed because its effect is doubled due to the reflection. The moon also is blown out... hard to meter because if the moon wasn't blown out & flair, then the lights on the house would be too dim, but perhaps a moonless night or cloudier. also, this image feels too centered... kind of like some kind of wierd fold in half thing... I am not crazy about the reflection.

Jeff, Beautifully exposed, nice & sharp. Taking advantage of the natural reflecting pool was an offer you couldn't refuse, a bonus. Can't help thinking that shots like these would benefit from a bit of illumination in the sky, say about 1/2 or 3/4 hr after sunset as they are inherently high in contrast & could use a little softening in that department. Also, in the interest of symmetry, why not include the moon in the reflection? Best, LM.

My thoughts exactly. The moon is missing from the reflection. Is this the full version we're seeing? Or cropped? If you wish to bring balance back into the force, young master, I would crop out the top of the photo to alleviate our minds of the moon. Also, I would give it a panoramic view.

But....Why am I telling you this? You know all this.

I love the holiday lighting. It gives a very soft, warm tone to what is surely a cold night.
