The photo was taken on a very cold night, using a Celestron C-8 telescope and a Canon R5 camera

Well, it’s a little far away, from the perspective of photography one can only guess really, but I appreciate the effort, especially with Jupiter’s moons.

With no atmosphere (93% CO2), no surface water, little gravity and few other resources, I don’t understand what all this talk is about colonizing Mars, not to mention 6 to 8 months to get there, according to it's orbit (and ours too incidentally).

Hi John. Thank you for your comment. I want you to know that I admire your work and the skill you have as a photographer. One of the most challenging subjects in photography is capturing the human form and presenting it in a way to show its beauty. You do this constantly. Concerning your feedback, yes I agree the picture of Mars and Jupiter are small and there was not a lot of detail that you can see in the pictures, which was disappointing. My wife was very generous and purchased the Canon R5 for an early Christmas gift. Needless to say, I was anxious to use it and check out its low light capabilities as well as the 45 megapixels, which were not disappointing. I'm not sure if the issues with Mars and Jupiter are because they are further from the earth than usual, the conditions of the atmosphere at the time I took the shots, or lack of skill of the photographer, me, who took the picture. Either way, I have things to work on. Again, thank you for taking the time to critique my work! I really appreciate the feedback. Keep doing what you are doing. You make the world a better place, By the way, concerning you comment about why people want to go to Mars, Hell if I know! I wouldn't want to do it. It could be the desire of Mankind to seek and explore the unknown which defies all common sense and rational.
