Very nice image. Great leading line and wonderful exposure. Did you lighten the truck a bit? I like all the other tracks in the dirt also. Nice composition... Dave

I don't light the truck, It's the sun and the chance. However, the sky is doctored ;-)

I like they way the truck *pops* being a bit brighter than the surroundings. The trail of curved dust has a very nice overall effect and looks even more interesting due to the setting/rising sun.

 

Can you tell us how this photo came to be? Was it planned and with all the *flatness* around, how were you elevated?

Hashim, Quand j'ai vu cette Land arriver avec son nuage de poussiére, j'étais en haut de la plus haute dune de sable de l'endroit et j'ai vu d'emblée la photo à faire. Malheureusement, le ciel était brûlé alors je l'ai remplacé par celui pris 15 minutes plus tard du même point.

When I saw this Land arriving with his dust, I was in top of the most sand dune of the place and I saw the photograph to be made. Unfortunately, the sky was burned then I replaced it by that taken 15 minutes later of the same place.

but how it was achieved slightly spoils it for me.

I can't measure the range of contrast between the truck and ground in the original and the exhibit, but it still looks unnatural. What's most important - it doesn't have to be that prominent, the image would work fine without so much of the accentuation on the Rover. Otherwise it's really good and I don't care where the sky came from.

colors and composition. The sky may have been burnt in - I like it even better. It is a nice project with a successful outcome. congrats.

I really hope you are doing this as paid ad work for LR. As such, pretty nice. But if it's personal work, it's kind of pretty but way too derivative of all those other car ads.
