DG, to begin, the title is perfectly descriptive of this image. (It also reminds me that I'm woefully ignorant of Jung's work). In any case, its three-dimensional appearance compelled me to fantasize what the figures must look like while in flight. The fact that the sculptured area is framed horizontally by sections of a decrepit wall seems to reinforce its messages. Moreover, it makes me wonder why the eyes of all the beings are black.
