michaellinder 16,613 Posted September 14, 2020 DG, to begin, the title is perfectly descriptive of this image. (It also reminds me that I'm woefully ignorant of Jung's work). In any case, its three-dimensional appearance compelled me to fantasize what the figures must look like while in flight. The fact that the sculptured area is framed horizontally by sections of a decrepit wall seems to reinforce its messages. Moreover, it makes me wonder why the eyes of all the beings are black. Masterfully done! - - My best always, michael Link to comment
Mrcreem 141 Posted September 15, 2020 Daniel, I agree with Michael, and the power of this capture - the juxtaposition of the lasting sculpture against the decrepit wall - shows that the metaphysical will survive the natural world. All my best, Mitch Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted September 15, 2020 If I had to respond - as I truly wish - to each one of you, it would take me a long time, since it would become a pleasure to "converse" with each of you. I shall then take the shortcut an express my humble thanks for your keen observations, feelings, impressions, and comments. You do me a great honor, and a very special pleasure to be able to share my work with fellow photographers of your experience and caliber. May this then serve as my thanks, loaded with my best personal regards to each one of you. DG Link to comment
