Birth of the Moon

i_kudbegud

was hoping to catch a sunset and walked to the beach. all the high clouds vaporized and there wasnt much to shoot. as i turned to go home, the clouds to the east were catching all the color and the 3/4 moon was right there. maybe you can come up with a better title. it kinda looks like the moon rising out of the cauldron of primordial ether. LOL i used neat image and define to eliminate the noise which effected the outline of the dark forground cloud. and i used a ca eliminator to remove the slight purple/blue outline around the moon. this brought up the orange in the middle distance cloud. manipulated? i supose so, but nothing was added; this was what i saw, with a little more vivid color.
