the more of your images I see, the more I realize how carefully you have composed them. In this photo, my eyes start their journey at the slate rocks in the left foreground to travel to the other side of the frame to arrive at what I would call a plateau at the banks of the lake. Then, finally, my view follows the bright sunlight up on the mountains to the cloudy sky touching the peaks. Then, there are the fine details. Lots of them to enjoy, like the larches' verdure , the mosses on the rocks and the clouds seeminly emanating like smoke from the snowy mountain. As you notice, I have enjoyed watching this image. I must say however that I do agree with Tom to some degree. Compared to your other work this is somewhat bleaker, the colors are more pale But maybe this is exactly what you saw. Vincent. I am very pleased with your comments. First of all, you are detail-focused in your reviews. You can tell good things about the photo and/or something that requires polishing. I really appreciate this. Doesn't matter how good you are in what are you doing - all of us, we are still learning.
