atkphotoworks 0 Posted December 7, 2003 Chris another great portrait. The lines on his face tell a story, I assume one of a hard life. I like the dual background. Link to comment
bob_pictaker 1 Posted December 7, 2003 Wonderful portrait Chris. The tones are very rich, and your dof is great! I agree that the split background was a good decision. Link to comment
alan chan 0 Posted December 8, 2003 Great facial profile, interesting choice of background. I am willing to pay a resonable sum to get a couple more shot from this man :) Link to comment
philmorris 0 Posted December 11, 2003 Really first class. Fabulous. Love it. The depth of field, floating head and split background reminds me very much of Domenico Foschis POW portrait which DF pulled before its week of fame concluded. Fortunately Doug Burgess had the good sense to copy it and attach it to a comment of his. So Ive robbed it to post here. I have the same admiration for your pic as I do for Domenicos. Dont ever pull it. Link to comment
carl_a._mann 0 Posted December 12, 2003 Wonderful photo. However -- I've said this before -- why add it to the journalism category and not to the portrait series? Although his face is telling thousands of stories, you don't even know his name... Link to comment
toja.com 0 Posted December 12, 2003 I never figured out why the category would matter that much. It's a part of a larger project. Alone might work better as a portrait I guesss. Link to comment
