I think the amount of foreground captured distracts from the more interesting driving snow against the brick wall and fire escapes. I guess it would be hard to do without eliminating the human in the picture.

Great, Maria! I love winter; this image takes me in the soul of the time. Time is on the jacket of the man, on the diagonal lines of the snow... The lines are the key of this picture, for me, and make it abstract together with the stairs, the metal pipes and the writing on the walls.

From the open door on the left bottom a phantom seems to come out...
