thoughts on slight over exposure, composition and noise?

(to me)this shot overcomes the obvious blownout background and the noise(speckles)is/are easily taken care of....poignant shot

I would have liked it better without the other person intruding in the scene. His somber expression doesn't quite fit with the passerby. A day in the life but it would have more power without being distrated by the girl. The bright environment is a distraction too. The eye goes to the brightest parts and leaves the subject of the image lingering. Even some modest edge burning would help to refocus the eye back to the subject. james

I like the lighting in this photo. Sometimes life issues are stare and glaring. I also like the fact that the woman is there. Life still goes on no matter what your mood and this is a perfect example of two worlds that happened to pass through each other.

I really like the blown sky, it kind of shows the bright world all around him. The woman walking by is brilliant! Everybody's moving, but he's in his own world. I like this one.
