Great shot. I haven't been to Prague but this looks a lot like the street where Franz Kafka was born - is that right? To be nitpicky, in some points of the roof-sky borderline there are signs of dodging which should not be that obtrusive; and the image might benefit from a slight ACW rotation. But these are really trifles against the beauty and the magic atmosphere that this image conveys.

Ciao Michele, scusa ma non posso fare altro che risponderti come ne sono capace: questa è la "strada degli alchimisti", una via della zona alta alle spalle del castello, non mi risulta che ci sia nato Kafka, ma non saprei dire... Di giorno è piena di turisti fino all'inverosimile, la notte invece è vuota e silenziosa perchè non ci sono negozi nè locali (almeno così era quando ci sono stato io). Per quanto riguarda il bordo sopra i tetti, hai ragione: ho chiuso il cielo in una selezione e gli ho tolto luminosità perchè mi sembrava troppo brillante rispetto all'atmosfera nella via... a far bene, avrei dovuto aumentare la selezione di almeno di un pixel, ma sono alle prime incaute sperimentazioni... Very beautiful! I like the colors, the reflection and the dynamic lines. It looks like a painting. Only the orange light at the upper left corner distracts a little.

Bel notturno, molto pittorico. Concordo riguardo l'alone chiaro che andrebbe eliminato, ma a ben guardare ha l'effetto di rendere ancora piu' irreale un immagine che già in prima battuta mi dà questa (piacevole) sensazione. bel lavoro!

Quite surprise that the colour is so rich (e.g. the two red houses & yellow window frame) in such a night shot.

This is Golden Lane in the grounds of Prague Castle (temporarily home of Franz Kafka... but I think they say that about every second street in Prague).

 

How did you manage to get a picture so late and with no one around... don't they close the gates by dusk? Well done for getting a shot without tourists! I know how hard that is.
