There will be very few places on earth like the Hoh River and Queets vallys, magic places indeed, and you Sir are very brave to use B&W on such a traditional colour subject ! 6/6 for your efforts !

Perfectly composed, excellent detail....a real beauty. However, since I was just here and know what the Velvia originals look like...it NEEDS the color. Are you going to show the original Ken?? Still this is nice...for a B&W! You never have a bad one. Aloha.

Ken, Every once in a while I cruise through the thumbnails of those on my 'favorites' list. Today it's your turn. I, too, love the composition here and the soft, low contrast lighting. I also agree with the others that this one needs the color element to be more successful. Always a chore to find something in your posts that is way out in left field. Critics (myself included) must, instead, satisfy themselves with minor nit picks. Always a pleasure. Best, LM.
