v. bangkok sunset

Colin, I looked at all the flower images you recently posted, just to get a handle on your style. At first, I thought it may be impressionistic but, after refreshing my memory by looking at several paintings by early French painters, I decided not to pigeonhole it. I picked this image for comments, although each of the others appears to be equally as enchanting. Due to the use of soft detail and relatively small areas of highlights, coupled with vivid colors, I couldn't help but conclude that it is an artistic masterpiece that belongs in a museum.
