Daniel, I must credit Laurent with noticing the pigeon sitting on top of the art pieces's frame. Perhaps the human figure actually is holding a bird in her hand. Quite aside from the way you've portrayed the architectural and decorative elements, I was mainly taken by the very warm feeling the image exudes. My best always, michael

Hi Daniel,

I agree with Laurent, Michael and Franz completely on this image; it is obviously yours in style, and it does exude a warm feeling, mainly because of the kindness of the bust in the foreground , but certainly because of the earthy colors. Kind regards, Vincent

Mon cher ami Laurent, and dear friends Michael Franz And Vincent, and others that have given this image a "like" here in PN: First and foremost, in these nightmarish times I truly wanted to share with you a blessing I send to all of you and all members of PN, hence the title. It was an old photo (nothing to do with current global affairs) in my archives but felt like pulling it out and sharing it with you, it sort of inspired me to wish you a good path towards the future. In all honesty, I DID NOT want to take it, nor show it after I "didn't want to miss" the overall context, precisely because of the pigeon. Nothing against it, nor nesting or resting there, it is only that doves tend to be like a magnet for many "touristy" pictures.....So I waited there for almost one hour, standing in the opposite corner expecting for the pigeon to fly away, so as to have a "purer" shot. However, in hindsight, and unintendedly blending with the title, this iconic religious figure was meant to be included. So, there you have a bit of background. I thank you all sincerely for your comment, which always encourage and humble me for your kindness and time spent on it. Please receive my best personal regards, and reiterate my blessing in the title. DG
